March 2008 Update
The San Antonio Area Association hosted two events in as many months. In January, the local association hosted a Road Scholars Event, featuring Romi Burks, assistant professor of biology, presenting “The Wonders of Chocolate." Our largest gathering to date (65 alumni and friends) enjoyed the presentation and wonderful treats! In February, the local association hosted a Leap-Day Happy Hour networking event at the Lion and Rose English Pub.

Officers recommend San Antonio area alumni periodically visit the Web site for upcoming events. In addition, local officers would like to hear from you, by completing the alumni interest survey. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete and will assist in serving The San Antonio Area Association of Southwestern Alumni.
