Class Agents are vital to the success of Southwestern's Annual Fund! Once a year, the Office of Annual Giving sponsors a Class Agent letter campaign, in which all Class Agent volunteers draft and sign letters to their classmates. These letters share Southwestern news, make an appeal for annual support, and explain why Southwestern relies on annual alumni participation to fund scholarships and financial aid. Being a Class Agent is an easy and fun way to show support for Southwestern. Last year, 567 gifts were received in response to Class Agent letters! One alumnus told S.U. that he wasn't giving until he got a letter from someone he knew, a classmate, and thought, "well if he's giving, I guess I should be." Another alumnus made a gift in honor of Bill Engvall '55, the Class Agent who had been writing him for years.
