Jill Hogue found her niche at Southwestern when she took Introduction to Psychology taught by Traci Guiliano, professor of psychology. "When I realized I enjoyed studying for class, I was sold. I knew I was going to be a psychology major," she states. Hogue also minored in both Spanish and business.
A political science and English double major, Chapman appreciated the liberal arts education that he received. He notes, "The Perspectives on Knowledge (POK) courses that I took really helped me become a more rounded student and person." Southwestern also gave Chapman the opportunity to grow outside of the classroom.
Matt Dean '03 is good with numbers. So good, in fact, that the professional math tutor, who plans to teach high school math in the near future, recently won $675,000 at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
